Here We Go:   Lombardi's on the Bay is part restaurant, part catering hall, but right now we're focusing on the restaurant part.  You can eat in the main restaurant, a more casual second restaurant that is located toward the back of the building, or outside right on the water.  The food was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious.  It couldn't have been better...well, unless you add on a Pomegranate Martini or any one (or several) of their specialty drinks!  As for parking, you can opt for finding a spot in the attached lot (which we did) or pulling up to valet.  Dress up some jeans or go in business-casual attire, and you'll be fine.  It was such a great experience from start to finish that we are looking forward to our next visit.

Here We Go:   I can't say enough about this place!  The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is beyond courteous, the view of the full sushi bar is impressive, and the cocktails are perfect.  I have tried several items from the menu and I have never been disappointed.  (Make sure you get all 3 sides of their signature sauces with your steak.)  Parking isn't an issue, and there is a valet option.  The dress is business casual during the day, but polish it up at night.  It's always obnoxious when people decide to go to some place like Blackstone in a Jets jersey (shame on you, sir).  Regardless, from steaks to sushi, you will find a special place in your heart and your stomach for this amazing restaurant!

Here We Go:  After passing by Tellers many times but not actually going in I finally decided to give it a try.  The restaurant itself, a bank building, is beautiful and the old vault makes for an interesting atmosphere.  But the food, while good, was not great.  The duck fat fries might as well have been cooked in vegetable oil because you couldn't taste any additional flavor.  The steak was not bad but it failed in comparison to other high end steakhouses on Long Island and the prices were enough for the steak to have been high end.  The sides were actually above average but the service was slow and inconsistent.  After dinner, we stood at the bar waiting for the bartender to appear and eventually we gave up.  The coat room had closed when we left, so we had to find a hostess to open it and get our jackets.  The best thing about Tellers may have been the drinks, which is not saying much for a supposedly high end steakhouse.

Tellers has a great cocktail and wine selection.

Bottom Line:  Not worth it.  Take your money to Blackstone.

Here We Go:  I have to say, the menu may seem daunting at first, because the items are written, translated and then described, but don't let the wordiness intimidate you.  You're dealing with the very approachable choices of chicken, seafood, steak and other treats.  The food is deliciously filling, and the sangria is made perfectly!  The portions are really quite large, and even the Tango Salad for One can easily be a good sized side salad for at least 3.  Tango has its own parking lot, so no need to worry about feeding meters, and the dress is casual.  Menu items are about $16 on average, but the prices range from about $7 on up.
